I Spy Fantasy is the video game adaption of the homonymous 1994 picture book. It is the seventh I Spy PC game, released 14 November 2003 on CD-ROM for Windows and Macintosh systems. It was developed and published by Scholastic and programmed by Black Hammer Productions. It has three worlds based on pictures from the book, namely: "Sand Castle", "The Deep Blue Sea", and "Blast Off!" Each world has three scenarios, which gradually increase in difficulty. There are a total of 54 riddles, with each scenario carrying six.
About 2010, Big Fish Games made a download-only re-release of Fantasy. It replaced the question mark button with an options menu, and the read-aloud button with a cooldown hint system. This version also removes each world's third scenario, unexplainably. Big Fish has never acknowledged or patched this, and still prices I Spy Fantasy the same as their other I Spy re-releases. The Big Fish re-release is often confused with the original game. Despite other I Spy re-releases having been delisted from Big Fish's storefront, this one remains (along with their versions of Mystery and Spooky Mansion Deluxe).
